Two weeks notice must be given to the office before you withdraw your child from the school for any reason. If two weeks notice is not given, you must pay the full tuition for those two weeks.
Any child with a cold, fever, diarrhea, vomitting or any other contagious disease cannot be accepted for the protection of the other children. The faculty cannot administer prescription medication. Parents must be on the school premises to administer any medication directly to their child. Medication cannot be stored or kept on school premises.
Friday is sharing day at the school. This day is set fo the children to bring a toy to share with their friends. (No guns, no war toys, no pets, no toys with many small pieces, and no expensive or fragile toys). Please mark the toy with your child's name.
We celebrate birthdays because each child is special and needs a time to feel very important. If you would like to celebrate yoru child's birthday at the school, you may bring a cake to share with his/her classroom friends. Please notify the teacher in advance.
Each child needs a complete set of extra clothes in a ziplock bag at school with the child's name. A ziplock bag is ideal for keeping the clothes together and for sending home soiled clothing. Clothing worn at schoool should allow for comfort and durability while playing indoors/outdoors, paining and otherwise enjoying their day. Please send your child in soft soled shoes or tennis shoes. No slippers.
The school strives to help each child learn and use appropriate behavior. Positive reinforcement and tie outs are used to help modify children's behavior. Effort will be made to enahance the child's self-esteem, and teachers will try to help the child undersatnd that certain behaviors are inappropriate.
For your child's protection, we require you or a trusted adult that you have pre-notified the school about, to accompany your child to school and sign your child in and out on a daily basis on the roster. No one will be permitted to take a child off the school premises without a written consent of the parent. A person of at least 18 years of age must sign your child in or out of the school.
